I am sometimes amazed that I can find the time to shower.  I spend all of my free time acting as a cleaning service and a shuttle service to my three kids. While I certainly would not trade my job for anything else in the world, I find that I am sometimes going without the things I need in order to take care of my kids’ needs.  This means that I may sometimes sacrifice my healthy dinner of salmon and mixed greens for a dinner of chicken fingers and macaroni and cheese because I know my kids will eat it.  It also means that I am sacrificing my gym membership to save the money (hey, we are a single income family now!), as well as to save time away from the kids.

Unfortunately, it has meant that my waistline has sometimes paid the price in return.  Here is where the internet comes into parenting: just because I can’t necessarily make it to the gym, that doesn’t mean I have to skip my workouts altogether.  There are a ton of websites devoted to fitness and workouts.  One of my favorites is http://www.workoutequipmentreviews.net/p90x-reviews-or-how-to-shape-up-in-90-days/

This website is a comprehensive list of different workouts, tips, suggestions, and exercises to help busy people like myself get back into shape.  The best part of this website is that all of the workouts have actually been tried and tested by the site’s creators.  You know exactly what you are getting into when you decide to commit to a workout routine that you find on this site.  You can find everything you need from quick workouts at home to comprehensive boxing workouts.  It is a great all-inclusive website for helping busy parents like me stay fit through the beauty of the internet!

A goal for your savings account would be very helpful because it would allow you to work toward putting more money away. When you do not have a goal, it can feel pointless when you are putting away money that you will not be able to use for many years in the future. One of the best things you can do in order to help yourself put more money away would be to set goals that you would then work to accomplish. Once you have met these, you would set others and continue working forward. Also, you may want to reward yourself for being able to meet these in a period of time that works for you. An interest calculator can help you to get better returns that would allow you to exceed your expectations in a shorter period of time.

If you have not been using an interest calculator, you are missing out on a tool that can help you a great deal. Instead of simply placing money into an account and accepting any return you get, this tool would allow you to have more control over how much you are getting. Also, you would be able to select an account for saving in a way that would provide you with a higher financial return. Once you have the right account in place, begin working toward putting more money away and reward yourself once you have exceeded your goals. This is a great way for you to start improving your financial life.

Recently I’ve been working pretty hard on a number of different projects which has involved more than a few late nights. I’m a big fan of coffee to help keep my motivation high. And to be honest, I think it works well. The only down side is that after every high comes a low. So I’ve been trying to think about different ways to remain focused for longer.

Eating Health Foods

I’m still drinking plenty of coffee. I like it. Or should I say, I love it!? But what I’m also trying to do is to eat more fruits and vegetables. Not only that, I’m eating healthier all round. My wife is quite happy with the change in my attitude. She’s told me that she’d be more than happy to see me lose a few pounds!

I’m still learning the ropes when it comes to all this healthy eating. To tell you the truth, it’s not something I’ve given too much thought to before. But as I clean myself out from the inside, I’m not joking here! Eating rice, beans, fruits and vegetables in greater proportions than I ever have in my life before, really is cleaning me out, if you get my meaning.

Giving up meat is a long way off. But that doesn’t mean I can’t take small steps to get healthy. I’ve been reading up about a vegan diet, and to be perfectly frank, it seems to have a lot going for it.
